Garrett Murch has more than two decades of professional experience working at the intersection of public policy, communications, and government. His work focuses on helping organizations navigate complex policy environments by developing clear arguments, communicating them effectively, and engaging policymakers with credibility.

Garrett spent many years working in the United States Senate, including for former Senator Olympia Snowe, the Senate Committee on the Budget, and the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. He has also worked in the think tank world and in the media, including as a member of the government relations team at The Heritage Foundation and as an editor for Laura Ingraham at the digital media startup LifeZette. These experiences inform his approach to strategic communications and public policy.

Since founding GCM Strategies, Garrett has worked with businesses, non-profits, and advocacy organizations to advance their objectives through strategic planning, policy communications, media engagement, and government relations.

Garrett lives with his wife Andrea, their daughter Isabella, their Chocolate Lab Mav, and their German Shorthaired Pointer Hardy.
